Petra Csizek is a curator and cultural manager. Since April 2012, she has been the programme supervisor of ACAX | Agency for Contemporary Art Exchange, an affiliate of the Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art, Budapest.
She studied art history at the Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest. Between 2010 and 2012, she was assistant curator at Trafó GalleryHouse of Contemporary Arts Budapest. She has been a board member of the Studio of Young Artists Association, Budapest since 2009, and of the Labor Gallery commitee since 2010. She is one of the initiators for two regular programmes hosted by Labor: a public presentation-event for artists to demonstrate their on going projects (Speed Date), and a one-night show-programme (One Night Stand) for the youngest artists. Between 2004 and 2009 she was working as editor of Artportal – news agency and database. Between 2003 and 2004 - as a scholar of the Hungarian Museum of  Photography - she researched and processed the photographic heritage of Endre Rozsda painter. Between 2002 and 2007 she participated in organizing professional programs, editing publications and preparing exhibitions as a volunteer at the Hungarian House of Photogarphy, Budapest.
