Künstlerhaus Büchsenhausen is a post-graduate center for production, research, exchange in the fields of visual arts and art theory. Within the framework of the International Fellowship Program for Art and Theory, the Künstlerhaus provides a platform that facilitates the development and production of artistic and art-theoretical projects in a critical context.

The Strabag Artaward International is an international subsidy award for artists under the age of forty in the fields of painting and drawing. It is a continuation of the Strabag Artaward that has been awarded to Austrian artists for the past thirteen years and will now include four countries for three years each. From 2009 until 2011, artists from Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia are eligible to participate for the first time.

For the 14th year running, apexart accepts 600-word, idea-based proposals for exhibitions in New York City. Reviewed independently, anonymously and without support materials, submissions are evaluated solely on the strength of the idea.

In 2011, Casino Luxembourg – Forum d'art contemporain will host the next edition of project room @ aquarium, an artist-in-residency programme based in the so-called "Aquarium", a 175 sqm steel and glass pavilion. This international residency programme, while welcoming proposals taking full advantage of the place's very specific architecture, is encouraging applications aiming to stimulate exchange and debate in relation with the local context and socio-cultural issues in Luxembourg.
